New Creator App
- Personal Information Collection: NewCreator does not directly collect any personal information from users. However, in order to make the app available for sale, certain personal data may be collected by Apple and its payment processors during the purchase process. This data collection is governed by Apple’s privacy policy and the payment processor’s terms of service.
- Data Usage: All data generated by the app is stored locally on the user’s device using device storage and, optionally, Apple iCloud if the user has enabled it. We do not collect or store any user data on our own servers. The data is used solely to provide functionality within the app.
- Third-Party Services:
- YouTube API: NewCreator integrates with the YouTube API to allow users to search for their channels and display recent videos. Any information shared with YouTube is handled by YouTube and subject to YouTube’s privacy policy.
- OpenAI (ChatGPT API): Some features in the app use OpenAI’s ChatGPT API to generate titles, descriptions, and insights. When these features are used, relevant text-based data may be sent to OpenAI for processing. This data is not stored by NewCreator and is used solely to generate results for the user. - Amazon Web Services (AWS): Certain backend systems or infrastructure may utilize AWS to ensure performance and reliability. While we do not store user data, some network traffic or non-personal interactions may be routed through AWS infrastructure.
- Google OAuth Permissions:
NewCreator uses Google OAuth to provide specific functionalities within the app. Below are the permissions requested and their purposes:
- View your YouTube account: Allows access to display YouTube channel information.
- View YouTube Analytics reports for your YouTube content: Enables retrieval of analytics data to provide insights on monetization and performance.
- Associate you with your personal info on Google: Links your Google account for personalization.
- See your personal info, including any personal info you’ve made publicly available: Allows the app to access your public profile info.
- See your primary Google Account email address: Used for account identification and user communication.
- All permissions are used solely to enhance app functionality. We do not store or share this data with third parties.
- Data Storage: Data related to app usage is stored locally on the user’s device or optionally in their personal iCloud account. We do not store or access any user data ourselves. Purchase-related data is handled according to Apple’s privacy policies.
- Data Security: User data remains on the device or in iCloud. It is the responsibility of the user to secure their device and iCloud account. We do not have access to any personal or app usage data.
- User Rights: As we do not store your data, you can manage or delete it entirely by uninstalling the app or disabling/removing iCloud data from your Apple account settings.
- Children’s Privacy: NewCreator is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children. If we become aware of such data, we will take steps to delete it.
- International Users and GDPR: We comply with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR. Since we do not store personal data, all data remains on the user’s device or in iCloud (managed by Apple). Data shared with third parties like Google or OpenAI is done securely and solely for requested services.
- California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA):
California residents have the right to:
- Know what categories of data we access (see above).
- Request deletion of personal data (if any).
- Know whether we sell personal data (we do not).
- Not face discrimination for exercising their rights.

- Comments: When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string (hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. See Gravatar Privacy Policy. Uploaded images should not contain location data (EXIF GPS), as others can extract this.
- Cookies: If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name, email, and site in cookies. These last for one year. Temporary cookies check browser compatibility on login. Login and display cookies may be set and retained for 2 days to 1 year depending on your settings. These cookies do not store personal data.
- Embedded content from other websites: Articles may include embedded content (videos, images, etc.). These behave as if the visitor has visited the external site and may collect data or track interaction per that site’s privacy policy.
- Who we share your data with: We may use analytics services that see your IP address and device type to help us understand website traffic and performance.
- How long we retain your data: Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely. If users register, we store their profile data. Users can view, edit, or delete their information at any time.
- What rights you have over your data: If you have an account or left comments, you can request an export or deletion of your personal data. This excludes any data we are required to keep for legal or administrative reasons.
